The Daily Race: Vuelta a España Stage 21

Vuelta a España Podium Cafe

Stage 21: San Sebastián de los Reyes — Madrid

What is it? Flat fast circuit, the traditional finish to the Vuelta.
Got Climbs? Nada.
Red Jersey Battle: So over. Pass the champagne.
Ideal Rider: Mark Cavendish. Why fight the inevitable?
@Gavia: Phew, these grand tour thingies are long!

You really don't need the stage profile for this one. It's like so flat.

Star-divide

The Vuelta a España concludes with its traditional sprinter friendly stage in Madrid. The course runs from San Sebastián de los Reyes to Madrid and is impressive in its flatness. There aren't any climbs. We would not want anyone to spill his champagne. there's a finishing circuit and it should be a speedy final kilometer. Pick your favorite sprinter, though really, can anyone beat Cavendish now?
