Techs-Mechs-Gear: Interbike Shorts

Went to the the Out Door Demo yesterday . . . .

. . . people always ask me If I see anything interesting when I go to these events.

Here was what I experienced today.

Coolest Tech - MadFiber

The design and manufacturing process is well thought out.

Ric Hjertberg, who literally wrote the book on all things wheels was smart enough to know he's not a composite engineer and pulled in an guy who worked for Boeing to help him and the results of that collaboration seems very promising.

Chris should go stop by and have a chat with Ric.

Beer - New Belgium Ranger IPA

As some of you know, I live in Taiwan which does make beer better then the US Domestics, but I'm not gonna' talk them up beyond that.

Wow, that was exactly what I needed as a 'welcome back to the US gift'

Thanks IBIS

Karma - Stanley Thermos

They figured since they are sponsoring a national Cross Series, they'd come down to the desert and see who all these bike people are.

The result has been super positive all around and I'd expect some bike specific commuting beverage containers to show up in their product line perhaps by next year.

So, there you go.

It's not much of a report, but I'm crazy busy with finishing up 2012 and starting on 2013 product and damn near everything I know would get me killed.

I'll try to provide an Indoor Short Day 1 when I wake up tomorrow at 4am due to Jet Lag.
