Tour de San Luis Stage 6

The 193.1 km stage on Saturday will be very terrible: a 34 km climb to 2084m early, then another cat 1 summit, Cerro El Amago, at 1720m, with pitches up to 11.5%.  The final 18 km to the finish are mostly flat on the mile-high plateau.  Stage 4 time trial winner Xavier Tondo of Movistar maintaned the overall lead with a 7th place finish on Friday's stage 5 moutaintop finish.  Ivan Basso has been tranquilo throughout, training through and sitting at 32nd on GC.  Liquigas teammate Eros Capecchi sits 4th @ 1:28.

cyclingfans.com has links to live video.  Streaming has been reliable every day for the last hour of the stage.  Schedule below (GMT -3).

Great work Sylvan!!!

tomorrow will be a cracker, I know most of the South Americans are at a peak for this. What time must I check for live video?

I'm sure the riders I've ridden with before think that I have cheated. But fuck them - Richie Porte insisting that he won clean.

How'd the stage go?

I was out getting drunk and stoned with my friends.

Oh, freak

it’s still on. We’re rooting for Christian Meier, co-captain of the Trailer Park Boys VDS team, now with UHC after being uncerimoniously dumped last year by he of the evil sideburns. He’s been having an inter-team rivalry on twitter with teammate Charlie Wegelius. I’m imagining them taking turns at the public computer in the hotel, sending out smack talk twit-twats at each other. Wegelius beat him by 1 second in the TT, but Meier put some serious time into him on the climb yesterday. Meier also got into the break of the day on both stage 2 and stage 3, and attacked the break solo for 10 km on stage 3 before finally being the last guy to get gobbled up by the sprint trains.

Frig off Ricky. No you frig off. And Meier got into the break

AGAIN today, Sunday, stage 7, four times in the break in seven stages and one of the stages was a TT, so 4/6. That’s is awesome.

this time I've got the media player up ahead of time.

Soap opera, right now. Time to do some housework, then enjoy this with a good conscience.

That too...I think they must be cutting back and forth,

because they’re showing both flatland and hills and mountains? And sprint points and final from yesterday.

cfans says they've been consistently showing the completely last 45-60 min of the stage.

stage scheduled to end btwn 17.59 and 18.33 local time, so i figured that the live coverage should start in about 7 to 22 mins
