The (belated) Jayco Herald Sun Tour 2011 Thread

It's an Aussie tradition that if its not something to do with construction, mining or the barbeque then it gets done late and half-arsed.

*blowies buzzing*

Ok, so that may be a lie but there's no disputing that this is a bit late. I'm surprised there's nothing on this already. There's a lot to like about this little race. For instance, it's little and humble, unlike it's fellow school-mate from across the state-line with his rich parents and flash clothes and flash stationary - ANYWAY, the Jayco Hearld Sun Tour (hereafter abbreviated to HST) is a 5 day race around Victoria and ending in Melbourne.  It will feature varying parcours as well; undulating Victorian countryside,  the much anticipated Arthur's Seat to be ridden over thrice in Stage 4 and a good old-fashion Aussie Crit to end things. The makeup of the field will lead to a different sort of race as well with team restricted to 6 cyclists and there being a mix of teams from every division.
