I guess it's time to stop evading responsibility.

Accelerated Rehabilitation!
Sounds like a name for Detox clinic.
Was he sober? Who knows!

Seriously
A guy hitting a fence with his car is newsworthy?
He may have backed into it for all we know, and now it’s full page news…. this is silly.
Landis?
Evading responsibility?
Hard to imagine.

LawrenceS is right...and I hesitate to go further, but...
give me a break! @ Monty, Holmovka, and Susie—If you re-read the article, you may find that he actually contacted the police and was given a traffic ticket. He then showed up to court and entered some version of a plea of nolo contendere whereby the law allows for a type of probation (or deferred adjudication) which Norwalk, Connecticut calls an “Accelerated Rehabilitation Program”. It’s sort of like taking a defensive driving course to have a traffic citation dismissed. Since he doesn’t live in Connecticut, this makes sense as a solution for everyone involved…pay a fine and move on with your life. What part of that is “evading responsibility”? Implying some sort of criminal mischief from this article proves little more than your irrelevant opinions about Floyd’s past transgressions, a penchant for innuendo, and poor reading comprehension skills. Put another way, are we not all fallible? Enjoy your day!
OK and the other Floyd news
is that his hacking trial opened in Nanterre, France on monday, but we’ve done that one to death and I thought that this little report was funnier. Well funny, but a very odd sort of law, since I don’t get why the police are prosecuting him when he’s the one who reported what happened.
And as to what part of that is “evading responsibility”, well i hate to bounce back that bit about poor reading comprehension skills, but that’s what he really was charged with. According to the, erm, first sentence of the page I linked to. Maybe we should just blame those wussy, liberal Connecticuttians for not giving their misdemeanours proper manly names.
Means he didn't hang out next to the fence waiting to flag down a police cruiser
right at the time. Which would have been a long / cold / pointless wait. I guess they charge him with something so they can repaint the fence, and because if he had waited on the spot and the police had come, they could have breathalyzed him and maybe found something more substantive to charge him with (or just as likely, not). It’s an inanimate object hit-and-run, and different areas treat such things differently.
"It is unfortunate that the Wall is not plugged in correctly."
I'm taking responsibility for over reacting to the previous comments...
and for not blaming wussy liberal Connecticuttians, and for my poor reading comprehension. I will try to do better. Mmmm…crow…
cough...wussy liberal Connecticuttians?
We prefer to be called nutmeggers.
On second thought – stick with calling us wussy liberal Connectucuttians…

A few possible reasons come to mind, no? None of them looks particularly good for Floyd.
