Cav to where?... Open the speculation lines

It's been the given assumption that Mark Cavendish is going to sign with Sky. "Why the delay of the announcement?", has been my growing question. Seems to be a few answers now why there is still a blank spot in the headline... Cav signs with _______!

Is it really all about the bike after all? If you take into consideration how many hours these guys spend on a bike, add in a little success like Cav has had, and I can easily see where some riders could develop a close relationship with what they allow between their legs... a marriage of sorts could result. It's now being rumored that Cavendish may indeed have developed a bond with Specialized and is unwilling to wrap his legs around the squiggly lines of the Team Sky Pinarello. I have to agree with Cav that the 'legs' of the Pinarello are not the most attractive out there.

The new rumor of where Cav could be headed?... Omega Pharma Quick Step. Several of Mark's teammates from HTC are already signed with this team and it's being said that Tony Martin has insisted on Specialized, so Specialized it is going to be. Who wouldn't want to have the current World Champion time trialist on their bike? But Lefevere squelches the rumor and says that while having Cav would be great, he has already signed 30 guys. It will take more than that to keep us from speculating Patrick. Any team that could afford Cav would figure out how to let one of their riders go, except for Riis of course, he doesn't touch anyone under contract... noble is he.
