New: UCI Athletes commission
It seems the UCI is at least doing something to get allow rider input on the work they are doing. Once again it's a change that seems driven by demands from the IOC? Of course it would be better if there was an actual rider union who had elected their reps to this commission but when are we going to see that union?

Yeah, it's something but not a substitute for a true union
Just as the s.k. riders association led by Bugno isn’t a true union.
Mind you, with Judith Arndt & Marianne Vos & Anne Meares on there
I can’t see the UCI being given an easy ride!
(There’s a comic aspect that Meares can’t attend the first meeting, as it’s at the same time as the Track World Cup in Cali!)
