Polar CS500 any good?
hi I hate my garmin, unpredicable git, doesn't work when it's cold nor damp nor when it feels like it. looking at polar cs500 as you can get a power option for another chunk of change. still cheaper than an srm, cycleops. any thoughts anyone? cheers

I’ve used Garmin all the time in very cold, wet conditions – like cross country skiing. Always works

Strava...? Mission accomplished.. Thanks everyone..! Currently at 17..! If we keep going like this we will end up TOP 10..! I am not pushing it but if it happens.... happens..!
Has anyone used the courses feature lately on the Garmin 500 (since the last firmware update)?

not sure about before/after last firmware update
but i’ve used it a couple times and it works great. once to preride a race course somewhere i’d never been, and another to not get lost on a trail i’ve gotten lost on before. this weekend, i’m gonna try to load up a route from google maps onto it so i don’t get lost on my trip to birmingham.

I know, invaluable work
for those who use or are interested in using Strava. Just wanted to mention that GPX-export is not exclusive to them (via Cosmo’s tool).

705 edge
maybe it was made on friday but it’s already been refurbished by garmin due to software issues. I think I’m outnumbered on my opinion of garmin!
Did it ever cross your mind you had a defected unit?
And I also heard is the worst version between the edge versions.
