I am enjoying some nice mild December weather in New England, so it's a good time to spend some time off the road and in the woods before the snow makes it's way to the trails. My bike was purchased used from a friend 5 years ago and I am yet to replace the WTB Velociraptor tires that came with it. They are badly worn and in need of replacing. I like the model, and would be fine with another set BUT before I go that route I wanted some advice on good tires for mud and mostly wet conditions in general. I also ride in snow (as long as it's not too deep or icy), but want something grippy in most conditions. I rarely ride on hard pack and I value grip over all other qualities. Any recommendations?
My bike has 26" wheels that are tubeless ready. I wouldn't mind going tubeless but it's not a huge priority either. Thanks-Pete
