The weather in Belgium sucks. Celebrate!
I bring you joyous news! The weather in Belgium has been horrid the last few days. The sky turned pitch black in the middle of the day at least four times today and I can hear the wind blowing around my flat right now. There's hail, gales, rain, storming and when I ran across the parking lot to my car... SNOW! Ok, wet, grey, icky snow, but still. Snow!
Finally, let the real cross season begin!

I've had the same weather in Arkansas. A sign the world is coming to an end soon
for it snow in “the south” in early December.
You know what's worse?
It has yet to snow in northern Indiana. And I’ve been making sacrifices to the weather gods for weeks to make it snow so I can do some real effing cross.

London
Had the full thermal kit on today. Nasty weather coming from the north. Still going to put the kms in this winter.
We are such sadists.

It was sunny 5 of the 7 days I was there
and the other 2 were still rather pleasant. I was horrified…
"Weltmeister!!" Zwei mal: 2010-2011...und weiter gehts
December: Where is the snow? I want to ski
April: When will the snow get away? I haven’t been on my bike for 4 months!
And by the way, I’m looking through the window and voilĂ , snow! 1 or 2 cm, but that’s a start…
Dude, exact same here
I want to ski, I want it to be pretty, I want to do some cross races in weather other than low teens (centigrade, 45-55deg F) and sunny…

hey that's good if it's cold
wet snow easily turns to ice</p%Pr
Sminer: I blame KARMA for everything.
Jens: I've heard it's a bitch
Water Girl: I heard it ran over your dogma
YAY!
Hopefully the next races will be half in the shade, for icy ruts, and half in the sunny, for freezing mud!
Oh, oh, or like Sankt Wendel, where it’s icy when they start, melted to mud for the second half of the race? That would rock too!
Aka Pigeons!

there is no race in Belgium this weekend. WTF?

There are TWO races in Belgium this weekend
Two! Both on telly too. You’ve been checking the wrong calendar Chris.
and superb races too!
Wasn’t Druivencross the one where Boom was loving the long sprint sections last year? And cobbles!
And Schelsecross = SAND!!!! Ice + mud + sand = yay!

Winter came here too!
On Monday, it rained and was 15 deg. C.
For the whole day!
Fortunately, it’s now back to 25c for the weekend.
What would Deming do? (+8:00 GMT)

Good work with the raindance, gs.
Looking forward to this.
Nice - I have to say dry cross seems a bit boring
What’s with the new avatar?
I was told there'd be no math.
wind
I was blown around today………………..in a Landcruiser!!!!!!! back on two wheels tomorrow afternoon methinks ;)
IMPORTANT UPDATE:
The weather stopped sucking today. It’s nice and sunny, dry, not too cold and the stormwind has gone too. It should stay dry till sunday evening.
Then that's bad, right?

Are you sure you're Belgian?
The big question is, has there been enough rain for mud??
It's pronounced "Int-CHOW-stie"
Can they borrow the snow machines from ski resorts
and use them for mud?
(While they are actually racing, I mean)
EXCELLENT IDEA
If they agree to that, I’d so chip in to a kickstarter campaign for that.
