Zirbel's mistake now seems obvious...

should have had his case heard by the USDCB

I like the spin Contador is applying to his "vindication".

How it’s good for cycling. How the laws have to catch up to the new science. Spain calling for thresholds.

It’s always been my view that thresholds are a way to set limits to doping.

Limit the hematocrit to 50% and all of a sudden, everyone is under the limit.

Limit the T:E ratio from 6:1 to 4:1 and all of a sudden, everyone is under the limit.

What should the threshold for Clembuterol be? Do plasticizers affect that ratio?

I know it is not political correct to post pro Conti comments at the Cafe, so now I will go back to my table-for-one in the darkest corner of the Cafe

I guess he has changed his mind then

From what I can remember, he has criticized the Spanish federation on two occations lately. First when they sent a request to UCI, and then when they proposed a 1-year ban.

Seems he has

but that adds perhaps more weight not less to his current comments. To this outsider Evald seems an honorable man, with impeccable credentials, not visibly pro contador previously, and his rasmussen related experience gives him an almost unique perspective.

(The Jan comments of his were very much of their time. Everyone complained about the RFEC requesting clarification from the UCI and WADA. The eventual decision shows that the very reports they asked for comments on were the ones they then rely on to clear AC.)

Perhaps UCI and WADA can outsource their work to Evald

He seem to be very efficient when it comes to analysing doping decisions in Spanish.

“Don’t discourage the boy! Weaseling out of things is important to learn. It’s what separates us from the animals! Except the weasel.”
