Who will win the TA Stage 7 ITT?

9.3km and flat as flat can be.  Who's got a chance?  It's a tantalising one.  Short enough for the prologue specialists and power riders, maybe too short for the usual TTers.   I have no idea who's going to do well.

The usual suspect: Cancellara.

Good TTers: Evans, Grabsch, Pinotti, Gesink, Konovalovas, Machado, Larsson

Power riders: Hushovd, Boonen, Boom

A left field choice: Lancaster

I'll throw my hat in the ring with a highly unlikely top 5:

1. Cancellara

2. Boom

3. Lancaster

4. Evans

5. Grabsch

Cancellara

It's short...don't forget Cav, even though Cance and Cuddles are my faves here.

You will not ask this question after MSR.

I hope!

When he comes 7th

zing

Cav’s already won MSR once. While on MY VDS squad. He now has no motivation to try and win again. ;-)

Ha! Now I know to whom he will direct his wining salute!

And I am afraid, it is not going to be pretty!

Hey, 7th is still worth 175 points in a Monument.

I’ll take it—especially since Haussler and GVA will be on the podium.

I am going with 3 Roboshacks in top 5.

Cancellara probably took it easy in the last two stages and he is ready to take this win. Larsson will be second.

Watch out for Boom, Boom!

Cance seems a bit off the pace

Evans form, maybe a bit too hot.

I’ll go with Boom, Cance, Evans

Hushovd seems to be on fire

I fear that Boom may be a bit tired after a week long stage race.

Could be.

But he has been laying low these past few days.

I go with

Boom, Pinotti, Evans

1st, 2nd and 5th. That’s the peak of my predicting careers, methinks.
