Women's Road World Cup clips hosted on Cervélo website
Good news, women's racing fans!
Following women's cycling can sometimes be a bit frustrating, because we know a lot of the races are filmed, but we hardly ever get to see them. RAI are fantastic with their coverage of the giro Donne, and the UCI put up un-commentated mini-clips on their youtube channel, and sometimes we get little race reports too - but it's difficult, especially knowing that the biggest races are filmed and stored somewhere. But things are changing!
Last year, Eurosport commentator David Harmon's production company made a halfhour programme of the 2010 Road World Cup, which is on youtube - and this year we had a half-hour programme covering the Trofeo Alfredo Binda and the Ronde van Vlaanderen on British Eurosport. I know, I know, that's not so good for people not in the UK, but here's where the fabulous news comes in - Cycling TV and Cervélo have partnered to show the clips free of charge on the Cervélo website!
I'm so pleased about this - and especial thanks to Gerard Vroomen, who seems to really be putting his money where his mouth is in terms of promoting the women's sport. I know it's still not much, but it is a start - and of course, the more people who go and watch them, the more evidence there will be that people want to watch women's racing!
Thanks Gerard, CTV & Cervélo!

Well done Cervelo
We’re not too bad about finding video links, but often they are buried in the comments which can be a pain if you want to find something old.
Fuck, I thought every time someone got too close. I'm here. You brake but I do not brake. I felt a slap to my right buttock, an Italian called "Occhio" because she wanted along. Will you along? Fuck. I sit here. And I gave my bike a swing to the right so that the brakes had to be Italian. She screamed evil.
