So who are the 2011 VDS Highest Value Riders as we head into Paris Roubaix and close the door on the cobbled classics for another year. Granted at this early point in the season lower cost riders will have an easier time paying off.
So how am I going about determining who is paying off and who is not?
I will be using This System since this is the system that tickles my fancy the most!
Riders and values on the flip.
Winning Helps! just ask the Top two on our list.
Nick Nuyens V=380
Sebastien Langeveld V=263
So does Finishing in the Points!
Matthew Hayman V=230
Jure Kocjan V=205
Allesandro Ballan V=200
Denis Galimzyanov V=170
Pavel Brutt V=170
Sylvain Chavanel V=165
Pim Ligthart V=145
Stefan Van Dijk V=120
Yauheni Hutarovich V=115
Michal Kwiatkowski V=105
Baden Cooke V=100
Chris Sutton V=95
Kristof Goddaert V=95
Matteao Palucchi V=95
Vasil Kyrienka V=85
Dominique Rollin V=80
Gerraint Thomas V=80
Duarte, Taaramae, and Geneiz round out the top 20 tied at 85 points each. All of these riders have not only put up points but they have generated better than average points per point. All these riders are in the black and all future points are gravy!!
I will also provide a break down of riders who have paid off by point cost:
1 pointers:22
2 pointers:16
4 pointers:8
6 pointers:3
Best 8 pointer is Danielle Bennati at -120
Best 10 pointer is Juan Antonio Flecha at -260
Best 12 pointer is Matt Goss at -239
Best 14 pointer is Filippo Pozzato at -545
Best 16 pointer is Michele Scarponi at -215
Best 18+ Pointer is Fabian Cancellara at -315
Loving me some VDS!!! Hope every one has a good weekend Hello Hurricane will be hoping for J-Rod to win Pais Vasco, Ballan to win Paris Roubaix, and everyone else (not on my team) to fall off their bikes!
