Happy Roubaix Eve!
It's Roubaix Eve, and as everyone knows, tonight the Cobbles Fairy* travels the world, bringing gifts to deserving cycling fans who have been Very Good Indeed.... So, boys and girls, don't forget to hang up your bib shorts/leave out your cycling shoes/leave whatever culturally appropriate thing presents come in, in your part of the world - what would YOU like the all-powerful Cobbles Fairy to bring you tomorrow?
(* I know, I know, different customs in different places, you might know it as the Cobbles Elf, Cobbles Bunny, Cobbles Chicken etc etc etc but you know what I mean!

Cobbles Fairy?
I was hoping if I were very, very good, on Roubaix Eve, Tommeke Claus would come down my chimney.

Tommeke drops a carrot?
Sminer: I blame KARMA for everything.
Jens: I've heard it's a bitch
Water Girl: I heard it ran over your dogma
What time do all the festivities begin tomorrow?
I’ll probably have to get up earlier than I did today if I hope to see any of it live.
bvls is showing streams starting at "10/04 Paris-Roubaix (12:10h CET)"...
Which is 6:10am ET….
Wow, the West Coast folks should skip sleeping…
I'll be too excited to sleep anyway
I see Hoste on the start list, is he actually going to ride?

I want the cobbles fairy to bring me complete communication silence
My wife is running a marathon in the morning, and I’m going to have to download a torrent and watch the race after the family is in bed. Please, cobbles fairy, don’t have anyone text me the results.
I picked Riccardo Ricco for my 2011 VDS team, and submitted said team well before the submission deadline. I fully understand the error of my ways, and plead with the VDS Gods to allow me to resubmit my team.
potatoes are peeled,
chimay is chilling. Now we just need 6:00am to come..
This is like Christmas.

Awww yeah!
Apparently the quality of the streams reflects how good the boys and girls have been throughout the year….

I was worried about the jinx too as I am one who relies on streams...
but Cobble Claus came through big time this year! Thanks Cobble Claus!
American Flyers is on tv...
What a way to prep for PR! NOT
But, sadly, I am still watching it – if not for laughs…
Shaver Sport won! So awesome - I would have never guessed!

Happy P-R everyone!
Well I’ve just had a glance at the start-list, and noted who the Shack’s protected rider is… after I’d picked myself up off the floor and dried my tears of laughter, I couldn’t help but reflect on how wonderful it would be if they were to somehow pull it off and rider # 181 ends up claiming the cobble. Can’t even imagine how such a thing could come about… so I’ll leave that in the hands of the Cobbles Fairy ;-)
I wish for a good 5 hours of good sleep for all of us in Pacific Time tonight.
now…. it helps if I get in bed and close my eyes. See you soon!
When does the Coverage start Zoe? I’m on Pacific Time also.
Unlike Flanders, I’ve had no booze and a good nap. Bring on Paris-Roubiax!
she's probably asleep
earliest live video is supposedly Eurosport at 12:15 CEST or 6:15 EST. Race starts in 15 minutes.
So British...
