SPG Giro style: The grand opening(stage 1 TTT)

Thanks to popular request(and by that I mean holmovka...but he is too sweet to deny right?) the Stage Predictor Game is back. Read up on the incredibly simplistic rules here. I pride myself on having a game which is not scientific in any fashion whatsoever and incredibly unrestrictive. What that says about me is probably poor but this has never stopped me. The greatest sporting event on the planet kicks off tomorrow so pick away fools. Nobody has to pick everyday unless you have ambitions of winning the overall and winning a virtual slap on the butt baseball style. So just play peeps, it takes 10 seconds yo.

Phil drules over Giro:

The glorious race starts with a twisty and technical TTT in the streets of Italy's first capital. Those teams with little GC ambition but strong TTT squads will go balls to the figurative wall(or literal if you are Eusky) so watch out for the usual American contingent of HTC and Garmin. Remember to pick TEAMS and not RIDERS for tomorrow...duh.

I picked Riccardo Ricco for my 2011 VDS team, and submitted said team well before the submission deadline. I fully understand the error of my ways, and plead with the VDS Gods to allow me to resubmit my team.

Hey - thanks for doing this again. It's a ton of fun, especially when we have a VDS guy but end up rooting for someone in this game instead.
