No Story this time as it has already been told in lots of places. Instead here is a gallery of favorites that in my opinion were not seen by the rest of the Photographers covering the stage. There just was too much scenery and racing going on for everyone to get everything. As usual there will be a link at the bottom to see the rest of the shots. In particular the Slyfox Moonwillow shots are unique as I just happened to be in the car right behind him when he decided to go for a ride.
Where else are you going to see a goat, a buffalo and a zebra in the same yard???
Enjoy....
Almost worthy of a caption contest...Peter Stetina looks over as Daniel Barry of Pureblack Racing starts stretching the group already within a few k's of the start. The view from the feedzone was spectacular!!
The Peloton rolled into the feedzone pretty much all intact.
One of the several waterfalls lining the canyon walls on the climb to Snowbird. The alpine pass is incredibly beautiful as well but I did not have the opportunity to shoot from up there.....too many places to be in them all.
Local cycling celebrity Slyfox Moonwillow (find him on facebook) always offers his own primes for riders as they go by. He took the opportunity to hitch a short ride on the back of Team Realcyclist.com Racing Souigner van as it went up to Snowbird.
View of the mountains around Snowbird from the finish line.
And on the other side of the finish line...
I am a sucker for cute baby shots too....Jeff Louder with his brand new baby boy Jai.
Good team Fun!!
