Pay for parking? At a ski resort? No, seriously, f you.
Any dumb f#*k who looked at Garmin’s roster could figure that out, it wasn’t exactly rocket-science. Hell, it wasn’t even lutefisk-science.

for the good covered parking, yeah
otherwise just park along this TT route and take the shuttle. Sadly most of the big resorts out here charge for the up close parking. At least at Vail the pay stuff is covered.
OTOH
the land around there is spettacolo. Just behind that little peak looming over Evans is a wonderful little wilderness. OK, not little. About the size of Denmark.

Can CVV overcome that kind of jinxing?

Unbelievable
I can understand that the production company does not have a handle on how to broadcast a professional race.
What I can not understand is how their lack of knowledge of the sport and their shameless nationalism has prevented fans from seeing the ride of the rider who is in first place.
Very disappointing….

Say what you will about the "town" of Vail...the Back Bowls are just plain fun to ski/snowboard...
which is kind of the whole point of a ski/snowboard resort – IMO. So, who cares about the town if the terrain’s good…IMO

Cadel obviously came here to compete ...
… of course, BMC has to find a way to claw back 2:06 on Garmin to take out the Team GC, but everyone else is over 4:00 back. They have quite cleverly worked things out to get their main rivals for the team GC embroiled in a fight with RadioShack for this “individual” GC category, which seems to be one of those “individual rider” categories like KOM and Green Jersey.
Stage 5 is going to be BMC’s no holds barred assault on the Team GC, and Cadel is going to be an integral part of it, mark my words.
Whistler's snow blows.
Vancouver is fantastic, but a real skier wants the quality snow. And, Whistler just doesn’t have it.
I'll have pics up later
I hope I was on TV!! Me and the parents were right behind the finish line, had a German flag kinda hanging on the barriers, raised it in full glory when Jens! came by.
Awesome!
