Vanderkitten is selling kit, so if you like it, now's your chance to buy some. Sorry dudes, it's women's sizing. But maybe you could shrink or something?

That is because only women's lines seem to understand long arms + skinny torso is a legitimate cyslist's build

And hence no made-for-guys winter gear seems to fit right. And they’ve been in the clothing business how long?

You should ask over on the twitter

if the sizing is the same as last year. Because last year’s VK kit defo wasn’t really made for tall people. I have a jersey and it’s awesome, but it’s pretty short in the waist. So if you were taller than me? Which it sounds like you are? It might not fit awesome.

Problem with women's shorts...

…chamois is short in the front. So that nice padded bit your junk hides behind, mostly not there.

How do I know this? At one point last year the LBS was running low on bibs and one of the guys was like, oh I accidentally got a pair of the women’s and they’re mostly fine, but it’s a bit short in the front is all. Tried ’em on and… yeah, a bit short. Like, short!

Just saying.

ha ha, right on

Never would have thought of that. I pretty much have no women’s bibs ;)

Yah these were your garden variety champion sys.. but women's chamois.

I can actually see how it’d be better if you didn’t need all that padding not to have it. I mean, who really needs insulating foam on a bike ride?

I like the bit at the front in men's bibs. More padding is better, no?

Just in case.

That's what I'm thinking...

Hell, probably even a medium.

In general men's M = women's L.

Most of my jerseys are men’s, because most of them don’t do women’s sizing at all. But there are incredible differences between manufacturers, and Vanderkitten runs small—I got their XL instead of L.
