Oudenaarde gets to organise the RvV finish in the next years. Looks like the city with the most cash won. Meerbeke has had the finish since 1973, looks like 2011 was the last time.

This decision means that the legendary duo Bosberg/Muur will no longer decide the race. The Oude Kwaremont and Paterberg will probably take over this role. In the past, the Oude Kwaremont was where the race really started. Now the Muur will probably get this role (70 km from the line). The Koppenberg will probably follow at 50km from the finish (same place as it was). After that they'll do the regular hills and cobbled sections, but possibly in a different order. The real finale will start in Ronse, with the Kruisberg (25km), followed by the Paterberg (18km) and the Oude Kwaremont (12km).

This is where the new finish will be. If it looks more like an area for a music festival, that's because 'Feest in het Park (Fi:Hp) takes place there every august.
