Hmmmmm
good performance by the man who looks like the “For mash get Smash” aliens. good for haussler too after a really bad 2011.
Don't want to talk his price up, but like Greipel, he's a much happier boy this year. And Peiper is his DS ;)

And only 4 points!

Barely back, and...
he’s already doing underwear commercials.

There are worse flaws for a man to have.
Correction: there are worse flaws for that man to have. (And sadly, he seems to have some of them.)

The Lotto train looked much more organised than the others
Last lap video
Dont know that we can read too much into this though, the warmup crit for the TDU is pretty much the definition of a SSR
Yeah,
perfect leadout for Greipel while BossHog had to close a gap just before the sprint. Nice teamwork by Lotto Belison.
That Steele Von Hoff seems pretty fast too,
Lotto are going to be very, very good in sprints this year. You can also hear how happy they are together...
the sprint train boys that is. Greipel, Hendo, Hansen…the old firm back together.

Plus, what else does Lotto have to do?
Might as well focus on Greipel
"Oh man, it’s going to take days to kill all these people!"
Well yeah
But JVDB can’t carry a team the way a Contador can. And there’s plenty of flat races and stages throughout the year.
I think Greipel will have a great year. It looks like he will have a good chunk of Lotto dedicated to him.

That Steele Von Hoff seems pretty fast too,
and he happens to have the coolest name in this race.
I'm not just a smartarse. Other parts of me are sometimes clever as well.

thank you for sharing this
It seems as though Cavendish rides faster on some climbs than the fastest climbers in front of the race. Danilo Hondo
Good work from Lotto
The other teams had to fight just to have their sprinters near Greipel.

Thanks
Greipel was always the last Lotto man in line, right? One hairy moment where he almost lost touch with his train.

I noticed that
If it was cav and not boss hagen dasz bye bye victory. They were organized but hendo says greipel need to better follow wheels. Which btw not that easy at those speeds…but he is a pro so..
I will pick Valverde on the VDS 2012!
If he was going to learn to follow wheels
he would’ve done so by now. He’s good at a lot of things- but following wheels is not one of them.
"I’m pretty disappointed, but if this is what people want to see, a race decided on a downhill," Andy Schleck said. "I don’t think that. A finish like this should not be allowed."
Just watching this again. HTC lives.

I think I will pick him again this season in VDS.
Happy for Andre..!! Lotto/belisol is the new HTC ??? (train ways I meant)
Strava...? We are going for the TOP 10 this year...! Are you going to be part of something great or not?
Early prediction...yes. Goss says he lost McEwen's wheel a lap and a half out, so I suspect GE has a way to go.
EBH lost CJ Sutton and were it not for Nathan Haas, GHH would have been alone.

They did look good in the train formation.
At least more organized.

Sprinting could be interesting this year.
From the sounds of it Greipel has sorted out teething problems at lotto and got some more talent for the train. There was talk on the twitterverse about him putting out some MASSIVE power numbers too. He’s looking good for VDS and it sounds like he will be finally making the most of his much vaunted talent.
Oscar Sevilla?
Oh, I don’t think so, Cyclingnews. (via)

Did it used to say Sevilla?

Yeah, they must crank out thousands of those every year
there are bound to be mistakes. But this one was funny.
They probably recognised him, just wrote down the wrong Oscar.
Probably used to the American circuit.
