2.5 km to the nearest train station, not too bad
although I don’t have MTB shoes, so I had to walk / push-bike on carbon soles with spd-r metal road cleats.

Fixed gear? Thinking of switching to fixed gear bike these days, perhaps “full” time.

but I hardly ever use more than 3 different gears. It’s quite flat here.

So, just as POTUS and VEEP never fly on the same aircraft,
no two key VDS personnel must share a tandem?
Two members of the VDS Governing body on tandem!? Scary thought!
