Planning for Louisville: Let's Get Started!

Patrick Verhoest

The Cyclocross Word Championships are coming to Louisville in February. Are you?

Word up: Tickets to the 2013 UCI World Cyclocross Championships, set for Louisville, KY from January 31-February 3, are on sale now. What are you planning to do about it? A few thoughts.

  • VIP arrangements are on sale now as well. If you guys want to start organizing around that, it can be done. Prices are $125 per person per day, but at some point if there's enough of us, we could have a table or something. There's a note about VIP tents too. I'm not expecting this, but I also wasn't expecting to send Les Amis de Paris-Roubaix a big check either. So let's chat!
  • I am not certain I'm going, but am leaning strongly yes, with an idea that I should be able to pull it off. Obviously I'll have some media duties with that. But if I can do it, there will be a PdC house, complete with irresponsible drinking and at least one screen playing the Big Lebowski KoppenbergCross videos.
  • That said, I am hardly the ideal organizer, geographically speaking. So if someone else is far ahead here and wants to carry the standard, speak up here or by email.
Not looking for answers now, but don't wait too long to buy tickets if you're planning to go. And do let's talk about what we can do to increase the Awesome here.
