I've been seeing a handful of pics go up of people's rides as those of us in the northern hemisphere work our way thru fall - changing leaves, less sunlight, etc etc. Feel free to add your pics to the comments!
(And for our southern hemisphere friends, share away your spring pics so we can be jealous when the snow or cold has limited our riding opportunities)
To start things off, here's a handful of pics from some of my modest rides. It's been a very yellow fall out here w/ respect to leaves changing - more so than the past few years. This one is from Chatfield State Park, near the southwest corner of the Denver metro area. Little car traffic and easy access to riding in the foothills.
Also from Chatfield
Next one taken from Cherry Creek State Park - I set my camera to pick up yellow and make everything else b/w
I've also seen some critters! A fox in Deer Creek Canyon...
And a very majestic prairie dog on the other side of the canyon
I also saw about a 5-6 foot fat snake crossing the road. Bleech. Sorry, no pics - turning around was of the utmost priority.
I've also seen some cool rock formations. These are from the same fault line that has given us Red Rocks in Morrison and Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs - I'm about 10 miles south of Red Rocks here.
And one more...
So that's that. What sights on the road have caught your interest?
(all pics mine)
