So I went to my first Gent-6 this weekend and loved it... The people, the beer, even Garry Hagger was fantastic! For anyone that hasn't been, I can only recommend it wholeheartedly. For the Brits among our number, there really is no excuse, its such a shot hop across. My favourite moments had to be a spine-tingling 'ILJO, ILJO' chant after he won the derny race on Friday night, but the riders make the event and they are so personable that you can't help but grow fond of all of them.
