The season starts here!
So excited, annoyed ES arent showing the race.
I’d love a Devolder victory. Get a feeling Degenkolb might have a good showing today though…

Well that's no use is it?

I observed with much amusement at the Tour of Britain a couple of years back how he put his helmet on and then spent ages using the window of the camper as a mirror to arrange his curly locks. So Italian.

I'm one of 8 people that have gambled on Frankly Pretty-Grotti.
Chuck Norris isn't fit to wear Jens! cleats.
Pretty well i'm thinking
Given he’s due back mid-May leaves plenty of time to come back to a decent team, then i’m banking on him going absolutely loco in a pretty mountainous Vuelta…
Still, he’s only 2 points, might as well take a risk.
Chuck Norris isn't fit to wear Jens! cleats.
I thought about him long and hard.
I think Lampre is likely.
However, I cut him in the end, at 10pm last night.
Thing is, to get a successful conviction through the Passport system, I figure his blood values must have been utterly ridiculously egregious, since they would not have risked failure on a test case. So chances are he’s a Di Luca who is nothing without supplementation, as opposed to a Valverde, who I judge is a huge talent with occasional boosting.
I had him the year he got caught and still came 2nd.
What might have been…le sigh

Never use a metaphor, simile, or other figure of speech which you are used to seeing in print.
Never use a long word where a short one will do.
If it is possible to cut a word out, always cut it out.
Never use the passive where you can use the active.
Never use a foreign phrase, a scientific word, or a jargon word if you can think of an everyday English equivalent.
Break any of these rules sooner than say anything outright barbarous.

Who won both – Omloop and Vlaanderen in the same season?
I don’t think anyone has, have they? Merckx won this in ’71 and ’73 and the Tour of Flanders in ’69 and ’75, I believe. De Vlaeminck won this in ’69 and ’79, Flanders in ’77.

One of my big FSA-VDS hopes for this season is burning his matches in a doomed breakaway. Apart from that, all is well at Edredon Towers, where the coffee flows free and the bets are down. I won’t bore you with the racing bets, but Matti Breschel (14/1) and Gerald Ciolek (50/1 e/w (4 places)) are the cycling bets of the day.

So, I did some digging earlier today
And found out that Bosch is a good bet as the 1t4i sponsor. Sissy van Alebeek owns both teambosch.com and teambosch.nl. I look forward to all “Like a Bosch!” comments. No surprise since Bosch owns Skil.

Bit of luck for the translating elves
“Lotto therefore look Bak, but it remains to be seen…”
With anyone else, the word “to” would be missing from that sentence. I do love me some sporza tickers… it’s been so long.

Isn't that a reason to pick him?
Sacrifice small TT points, but not tow Schlecks around for 3 weeks?
I would think that’s a positive, no?
You'll be disappointed then
He said in a video interview to Sporza that he will be going for sure. Good, TdF without Cance is so wrong.

I've learned my lesson, after 6 years of VDS: I have to pick Cancellara.
Otherwise, I just do not enjoy the season as I should. Go Spartacus!!!
He has never scored anything close to justifying 26 points in the past
but if it’s going to happen, this may be the year.
But I just think everything has to go perfectly for him all year to reach 2500 points.
With you all the way Ruthann.

Somebody mentioned, think in the Sporza interview with Wutys,
That BMC is the Barcelona, I would say Real Madrid (spending dollars) of the cycling. With their line-up they have 7 riders who can win today
Nah
He also said the riders they’ve got are absolutely stellar. But making them work together will be a different tale.
