Nice shot, I love the dramatic cloud

Thanks

I’m not much of an ice skater, haven’t skated in 15 years I guess. Fever was hyped, laughed at, now flared up again with the new cold front.

That really is an amazing sun shot.

It was a beautiful day, just a couple of clouds, -5ºC = 23ºF

but the sun made it very tolerable.

Ted, you were riding a snowmobile right?

I know this is a cycling site, but you weren’t talking about riding a bike… were you?… no, of course not.

Ha. Yes, bike.

There are only 2 inches of snow and no thaw at any part of the day, so, nice & dry where still fresh, pretty grippy when packed. No ice. Good for riding! One minor annoyance: the ground is solid, too, so there were some snow-covered frozen ruts in the forest. Killers. One crash but no harm. More shots: http://yfrog.com/user/ednl/photos

Awesome, I'd actually love a chance to ride like that.

We had 6 inches in the UK.

Turns out that’s too much snow for me. Nearly fell off within 100m and underneath it is icy.
