NCS Nordhaug bags first win in Sky blue and black
Lars Petter Nordhaug of team Sky wins the 2012 Trofeo Deia. The victory was the Norwegian's first since joining the pro ranks in 2010. The 2010 winner of the Trofeo Deia, Rui Costa of team Movistar finished in second place, 26 seonds adrift of Nordhaug, while team Sky's pre-season acqusition, the Colombian Sergio Henao rounded off the podium in third place. Eye witness reports from Oslo tell of scenes of raucous jubilation as the news broke that Nordhaug finally had lived up to the expectations that have made those in the know dub him the next Norwegian Climbing Sensation (NCS). Procycling.no has more (in Norwegian).

Shhhh…..Keep it quiet, lets hope other 500 people are asleep!
In loving memory of the HTC- Highroad
.
He’d already passed the video audition.
Ted’s mp4 version that won’t play for me

Excellent!
I will claim special top secret between-seasons VDS points for having him last year. Hope there is more to come this year. Sky isn’t too overloaded in the Ardennes-type races so he should get some chances hopefully.
he is an Ardennes-type racer? what else can you say?
I’m afraid I don’t really know him, except for that fact that I’m always confusing his name with Petter Northug.
Good climber but not high mountains (yet?)
Had a run of bad luck going into the Ardennes week last year. .
He was declared the new "klatrekonge"
When he was 6th or something on the mountain stage of Crit Int last year, it was a fairly big mountain.

My sandbags are filled with
Rigoberto Uran and Sergio Heinao who will be the captains come Ardennes week. Poor Lars Petter will probably replicate his points production of last season, a whooping 0 points.
50.
From Coppa Sabatini.

Facts will never be able to pierce my sandbags.
He’s a bust, I tell you. :)
You won't be disappointed
This is Rigoberto’s year! (You heard it here first. Actually, I might’ve said something similar last year, too).
Purely by accident you forgot Thomas "The Winning Machine" Löfkvist there
(or perhaps he would counterbalance the sandbags)
I know I've forgotten him.
