Here's a hint: It's still not a GT.

Phil,
speaking of inferiority, will you be around for the girorado in august?
"Ants don’t worry, they operate like a fantastic team, they accept obstacles and deal with them in a positive manner, they don’t complain and remain positive. An ant doesn’t work on emotion, is proactive and always chooses the ant role."
Probably
I’m applying to do my Masters in Leipzig(Ger) but classes don’t start until October. I’d love to get out and actually watch the race this year(couldn’t last cause of classes). And yeah it’s way inferior to the Vuelta, will lever be a GT and has a ridiculous name. I can stay objective

sweet, i should be there too, at least for a stage or two
let’s party

Assuming they're both reasonably close to their best,
it will be fun to see Horner verse Levi, rather than them working as teammates.
Huh? What?
Who, really, thought the ToC was better than the Giro or that it is a GT? The map itself merely says that is is America’s premier stage race. And, it certainly has a legit claim to that. So, wtf is your comment about, really?
The organizers have made ridiculous claims in the past
Phil and Paul have already claimed it a GT, and it’s a bit of a running gag on PdC. It’s cool bro, just a race

O.K., O.K. I see.
Liggett says it’s the fourth best race, and then also on another occasion that is a grand tour. Alright. But, then again, mocking Liggett for the actual content of what he says is like mocking snow in January. His genius is not in content but in context. And, has Paul Sherwin said anything similar about the ToC? I’d be surprised.
Heh, I remember watching a stage of the TdF, I can’t remember which, where Liggett quickly made like three or four claims in a row, all of which were demonstrably shown false by what happened on the road within five or ten minutes. I was like, “O.K. But I still love you Phil.”
