Fanposts!

Just a quick note to all you lovely people: You are not imagining things. The fanpost column has temporarily disappeared from the page. The support people are working on a thing. It will return when they are done with the thing. There've been some database-related troubles, which they are working to fix. Sorry for the dread 503 errors you may have been seeing earlier today.

We've had a bad couple weeks

with attacks on the SBN servers. It happens, they’re killing it to stop it, and hopefully it’ll stop happening soon.

Why would anyone attack the SBN servers?

That

Reasons?

Just takes some bored kids and LOIC.

this is why I sign my kids up for about 17 activities a week.

(said in a distinctly Seinfeld-like way)

by JustJoshinYa on Feb 8, 2012 3:36 PM EST up reply actions

The reason is ...

… you still have Roberto Contador listed at 1 in the Top Ten Riders list. Yer in violation of The Code.

Roberto?

Sheesh, he hasn’t even been gone two days, and we’ve already forgotten his name.

Alberto / Roberto ...

… Contador / Heras … I keep getting them mixed up name-wise. They kinda look alike also, with that sad pensive expression.

So why is he still listed in the top ten riders? Alberto that is … It is just jinxing the Cafe. heh heh heh

We don't answer to the UCI

The points we award, stand at the end of the season. That’s Final.

(Also, I hadn’t really thought of resetting his score to zero yet.)

cofidis FTW!

Wow, thank you, thank you Gav

You just reminded me that I have exactly that, emergency supplies, and that means I don’t have to go out in the cold dark city this evening to buy beans for tomorrows coffee, I can wait until tomorrow and go out in the daylight, still cold of cause, but better anyway :)
And also emergency supplies should be replaced regularly, so they don’t get too old :)
