i've been meaning to put something like this up for a bit, so thanks to thebongolian for the inspiration. as some of you may already know, i'm a fan of the US national championships held in greenville south carolina for the past several years. it's only a couple hours from atlanta, so getting up there is easy. greenville, or g-vegas as it's also known, is a fun little town. nice walkable downtown area, paris mountain (which the race climbs 4 times) is only miles away, and there's plenty of beautiful country roads all around to enjoy on two wheels.

it's a pleasure meeting other pdcers there, so i figured why not turn it up a notch this year.

the race is held over memorial day weekend, with the TT taking place saturday (may 26th), and the RR monday (may 28th). that leaves sunday for doing whatever we please. last year, friends and i did a little ride starting from the base of paris mountain over to caesar's head and back. quite lovely. other years we've ridden the actual race course, or just did up paris mountain, back down, then up the other way.

anyway, the purpose of this post is two-fold. first, who's planning on attending? second, who's interested in doing some sort of pdc social ride, in or around greenville, on sunday?

and in case you're dumb like me, there's talk of riding to greenville from atlanta (or nearby to make it under 130 miles) if anyone's interested.
