This really disappoints me. These magnetic bracelets have been around for long enough that 5 minutes Googling will show you what a scam they are. I almost titled this "Geraint Thomas, idiot or liar?", but that seemed a bit too CN-Forum for we gentle folk. But I think the sentiment is justified. If he thinks they work, he's an idiot. If he doesn't, he's cynically using his popularity to profit from a well known scam under a new name. Please do the right thing and restore your reputation, Geraint.
