This morning my inbox was filled with press releases, a sure sign of a weekend filled with bike racing. Yay bikes! By far my favorite result of the weekend was this one: U.S. climber Joe Dombrowski (Twitter) won the GiroBio with an attack on Passo di Gavia. He finished 43 seconds ahead of second-placed rider Fabio Aru of Team Palazzago. That put Dombrowski in the race lead by 25 seconds over Aru, and with just a sprint stage to go, the victory on the Gavia sealed Dombrowski's overall victory.
