The sounds of the road - cycling music

I didn't know the answer to this one - in fact the last time I heard the words 'Jean Bosco Safari' must have been somewhere in the nineties. But! I do know some other cycling songs - songs specifically linked to cycling. And maybe you do too? And then I can make a cycling playlist to listen to while I ride to work in TdF times. That would be fun.

Official Sky TdF song - The Elite ft. Ollie Sloan - Go Far (Team Sky) (be warned, it's shit and won't make the playlist)

Jean Bosco Safari - Clean, clever and competitive, the 2011 Team Accent Jobs - Willem's Veranda's team song (god that's a long sentence)

The Sporza theme song for the 2002 World Champs: De Fiets van Pavlov - Rijen, rijen, rijen, stoempen, stoempen, stoempen (check it to practice your cycling Dutch) (and to relive Johan Museeuw becoming world champion)

The entire Les Triplettes de Bellevilles soundtrack works, of course, but I am particularly keen on Cieco Cieco, which makes me think of the Giro, laugh, dance, smile and sing along in terrible Italian. Tutto non voler... tutto non chieder... e lui grande coglione e se ne vaaaaaaaa

There it goes (for Koos) by The Gasoline Brothers, for Koos Moerenhout's national title.

I'm sure Albertina or Urbs can get me the link to the Ametxa Txurruka song, which I seem to have lost.

And finally... DE CROSS GAAT DOOR

Ben Hermans picture by me, at Eneco 2011.
