Stage 17 Results
Movistar finally got a result, and Froome confirmed that he's probably the best climber at the Tour. Picking Valverde and Froome, our three joint stage winners were dkirk, RollinRollinRolland and straw dog.
In the GC, our prior casquette jaune wannabe_scattista blanked again, and this time he was punished, as all three of his closest pursuers scored good points. The new top 3 are straw dog, tgartner and dallsopp. It's very close at the top of the GC, and should make for an exciting finish. Anyone in the top 20 or so is still in contention. However, with top places in the last two stages likely to go to widely picked favorites, stage 18 may be the last opportunity to score a big result of 20 points or more, if it doesn't end in a sprint.
Mountains competition final results are below, top three were straw dog, dallsopp, wannabe_scattista.
