TdF Stage Predictor Game: Stage 20

Stay connected for news and updates

Stage 20. Saturday 22nd July. Rambouillet → Paris Champs-Élysées, 120km.

EXTENDED ENTRY DEADLINE 15:30 CET

Given the traditional neutralization of the early part of the stage, the entry deadline is extended. 15:30 CET is halfway through the stage, about 30 minutes before the first entry onto the finishing circuit. If a break has already gone when you post your entry, you can only pick riders still in the main peloton.

Nobody foresaw Luis Leon Sanchez' performance, but frans verbiage and Makiavelli scored well with 4th placed Peter Velits along with the two favorites to share the penultimate stage win.

In the GC, dallsopp extended the casquette jaune lead to 8 points. The lead is probably unassailable unless one or more outsider picks place fairly high on the Champs. This sets up an interesting strategic decision for tgartner and straw dog in 2nd and 3rd. If they make outsider picks to give themselves a chance of taking yellow, there is a risk of losing a podium position to wannabe_scattista who sits just 4 points back in 4th place. There are prizes for the top 3 in GC.

Entry Deadline

The strict entry deadline is the official start time of the stage - timestamp one minute late, your entry doesn't count for that stage.
Subject to the deadline, you may change any or all of your picks, but only one time, in a single reply to your original post.

Entry Format

On the first three lines of the body of the post write your three riders' surnames only.
Write the surname in full, and nothing else. No nicknames, no abbreviations.
Add first name after the surname only when there's ambiguity (e.g. "Velits, Peter").
