Stage 6 Results

Picture_12_medium

Our story of the day is tgartner's inspired unique pick of Froome - anticipating, I'm sure, the possibility of the stage playing out with just the scenario that we witnessed between Sky and Evans in the finale. tgartner wins the stage, giving us a new record high score for the second day in a row. It stands to reason that when stages are harder to call, there is a bigger reward for getting it right. Good points also for 6 DS's who picked Wiggins in 3rd; and congratulations also to shades for a unique pick of Taaramäe in 5th.

In the GC battle, Uphill retains the casquette jaune for a second day, but there are some interesting moves just behind. Prior GC leader andrewp makes a strong move back into 2nd place with Wiggins and Nibali, and tgartner's stage win catapults him from 34th up to 3rd.

Our mountains competition begins soon with Stage 10 - see the polka dots below for details.

Entry Deadline

The strict entry deadline is the official start time of the stage - timestamp one minute late, your entry doesn't count for that stage.
Subject to the deadline, you may change any or all of your picks, but only one time, in a single reply to your original post.

Entry Format

On the first three lines of the body of the post write your three riders' surnames only.
