Courtesy of the great Contador:
If I hadn’t believed in my chances, then I’d have just stuck with my second place. And I wouldn’t have attacked at Fuente Dé.
Ever wonder why guys don't attack when they clearly need to in order to win? Because they know what their chances are. Contador isn't an unusual character in cycling; he attacks more than most because he believes in his chances, with good reason. Obviously many fans don't accept Contador but for those who do, well, there's a lot to appreciate.
