I think I might be in the market for a new bike this Spring/Summer and am starting my research now. There appear to be a tonne of bikes to choose from, and don't ask me why but I am drawn towards the Specialized Venge range.

Does anyone here at the Cafe have any experience direct or not too indirectly with these frames?

I am not of small stature. At 6 ft tall and 185 lbs, Pantani wannabees sit on my wheel on the flat roads and get the draft from heaven, only to disappear from sight when the road goes up. However I am not aware of any (significant) weight limitations on these frames.

Oh and there appear to be some great deals out on ebay etc for 2012 models. I'm aware of the general potential pitfalls in buying a second hand bike, but still, am drawn to the notion of putting my money on a higher end bike from last year versus a brand new bike....
