alright, let's write some words so this can be a fanpost instead of a measly little fanshot. US national champs have been held in Greenville, SC for the last 5, 7, 8? years. the course featured a few opening circuits downtown, three or four bigger loops that climbed Paris Mountain, and then a few more of the finishing loops downtown. the course in Chattanooga, TN (home of one of major sponsor VW's US plants) will be very similar; starting loops in town, loops over a climb, this time Lookout Mountain, and some finishing circuits. you can find details and a map over at USA Cycling's website.

given the similar set-up, what is changing in 2013? the women's national champs will be held on the same course! two races on the same day.
