Rules that can't be enforced are never good IMO. And the riders cut dozens of corners in every Flemish race, so how on earth are they going to enforce this rule?

What about the myth of Eddy Planckaert's light pole gap? Wat about Styby's beautiful cornering kerb hop? What about all these cobbeled stretches where experience and course recons really pay off (Eikenberg, Taaienberg, kasseien Mater,...).

Cutting corners and kerb hopping brought us so many great moments. I agree that it shouldn't be encouraged, but it's such a beautiful element of the Flemish spring races.

Please UCI, don't take this away from us.
