First things first. Will there be live video? Not for the first two stages. There will be short video's in the evening, but only the last stage will be broadcasted live.

What to expect here? Mostly rain, wind and young TT-ers who get to ride for a GC.

  • Today's stage is flat a prologue over 7km. Here's the starting order. This is usually decisive for the GC.
  • Tomorrow's a flat stage between Brugge and Harelbeke, with two 18,3km local laps at the end.
  • The queen's stage is scheduled for Sunday. After a ride at alongside the coast (echelons?), the course goes to the area known as 'Heuvelland'. You may know that from Gent-Wevelgem. The riders will have to climb the Goeberg, Zwarteberg, Rodeberg, Monteberg en Kemmelberg before heading towards Ichtegem where they have to do three local laps of 11 km each.

This is a category 6 FSAVDS race, so that means only 25 points for the stage winner and 100, 70, 50, 30 and 15 for the top 5 of the GC.

Any interesting names on the startlist?

GC guys: Sergent, Jungels, Machado, Devolder, Vermote, Vandewalle, Ignatiev, Haller, Konovalovas

Fast guys: Cavendish, Van Hummel, Porsev, Ciolek, Petit, Traksel, Wippert, Robert, Dehaes, Van Asbroeck, Napolitano, Van Dijk, Kump,

Interesting riders: Terpstra, Tsatevych, Geslin, RJvR, De Maar

I wrote this in a rush, so I probably missed some interesting names.
