Moreno Moser escaped in a timely fashion, in the final stretch of dirt before the finish, to win today's Strade Bianche. His teammate Peter Sagan, whose presence kept the favorites at bay when Moser attacked, took the sprint for second, marking a spectacular day for Cannondale. Moser's win was the first in the race's history for an Italian. So yeah, people there were pretty happy. Here's a quick gallery.
