UCI Junior Track World Championships

The Championships start today and run through to Sunday. A full track meet with all the usual races included.

Morning sessions being mostly qualification rounds and then a full Evening Session featuring the finals starting at 19.00 BST (except Sunday when starts at 14.00 BST)

Wednesday saw Men & Women Team Sprints, Mens Team Pursuit and Womens Scratch Race decided.

Thursday saw Mens Individual Pursuit, Scratch and Keirin, and Womens TT and Team Pursuit decided.

Friday saw Mens Point Race & 1km TT, and the Womens Individual Pursuit decided. Also the semi finalists of the Womens Sprint determined and the first three rounds of the Mens Omnium take place.

Saturday saw Womens Sprint & Points Race decided and Omnium get underway, Mens Omnium decided and Spirnt get underway.

Usually the Junior Races (especially the group races) as good if not better than the Seniors. Full on racing expected from the "Stars of the Future".
