I wonder why this race is not more prominent?
It really is great, a true 'throwback', held in Brittany since the early '80's, it has a similar history to the Strade, being run as an amateur race till 2000 and upgraded to a 1.1 event in the mid '00's. Run just a week after P-R, can't the UCI fit this into the mix more than it is? It covers beautiful French farmland on beautiful French farm roads, lots of dirt and gravel, and cobbles, it really does have tremendous character. It's been won by a strong list of French hardmen over the years. I'd love to see it draw more attention and a heavier, international field.
Here is the link to the last 50k's of today's race. Well worth the watch.
