Tour de France legit viewing in USA

Hey gang,

Need your collective knowledge...because I'm lazy.

My wife wants to buy me a subscription to watch the TdF online in the US. Both so that i don't have to yell at the computer when the freeze feeds at the flame rouge, and also so that my father-in-law can watch with me (he's very by-the-books and doesn't approve of pirating).

I briefly tried to look at NBC and cycling .tv and both experiences did not answer my questions....
