PrintPeter van Petegem, a.k.a. 'de Peet', a.k.a. 'De zwarte van Brakel' is calling it quits.
He might ride one or two crits after the Eneco Tour, but that's it, he won't return next year. The announcement came yesterday, after the second stage of the Eneco Tour had finished.
In the 'cycling-afterlife' he's considering training youths, so watch closely for new talents produced by a classics specialist!
