The Belgian Davitamon Lotto team will be equipped with the Ridley Damocles road bikes with full Campy Record Group and FSA bar, stem and post. The Damocles is a high modulus carbon monocoque sloping frame that tips the scale at 1.2 kg. Ridley has been a household name in 'cross for several years, but they entered the pro ranks fairly recently.
Like most pro rides, the Damocles offers a stiff, durable and fairly lightweight ride. The Campy group is unchanged for '06 and most team bikes will be equipped with Campy Eurus or Bora Wheels. Campagnolo offers the no-nonsense drive train that seasoned pro's like. This is a bike that is designed for sprinting and taking all the punishment the spring classics can dish out.
