This story is completely devoid of news, but between the lines, I think it says that the brute force of UCI prez Pat McQuaid's Irish charm threatens to break the deadlock between the PCT and the grand tours. Either that, or someone explained to the Tours how much money they'd lose if they ever forced the Pro Tour riders to sit out.
