Ok, I know hindsight is 20/20, but did anyone really think this year's version of the Giro d' la Dolomites was set up to favor defending champ Paolo Savoldelli? I don't mean to stick a fork in him, but let Cunego and Basso trade body blows for the next couple weeks and let Paolo get in some nice training to peak for the TDF. This year's Tour is perfect for Il Falco. Only 3 mountain top finishes, some screaming descents and two ITT's over 50k. Also, CSC would be the early favorite in a TTT, but that will not be contested in France this year. I said it before and I'll say it again. Johan has his eyes on one prize, first and foremost. The Maillot Jaune.
